Job Description
HIRING NOW For a Front Counter Clerk! Casual Work Environment!
Hours for the Front Counter Clerk are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Rate of Pay for the Front Counter Clerk is $15.00. Depending on background and experience, company will negotiate.
Company Offers a Competitive Benefit Plan! Medical Paid at 100%, Vacation, Holiday and Retirement.
Essential Functions for the Front Counter Clerk Include:
*Request parts and supplies from internal and external sources;
*Maintain appropriate inventory levels and remove out of code products.
*Maintain accurate files.
*Respond quickly and accurately to part requests from shop personnel.
*Provide superior customer service, in person and over the telephone.
*Issue work orders and invoice customers.
*Cycle counts of parts inventory.
*Process cash, check and credit payments.
*Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawers at the end of the shift and calculate daily transactions using an adding machine.
*Other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Required Qualifications for the Front Counter Clerk Include:
*High School Diploma or Equivalent.
*Minimum of 6 months customer service experience.
*Must be able to follow directions and is detailed oriented.
*Ability to count money and provide the correct change.
*Must be able to communicate and assist customers in a professional and helpful manner.
*Knowledge of inventory processes and procedures helpful.
*Previous retail experience is a plus.
*Must be able to maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
*Must be able to stand for an eight hour shift, lift 25 pounds and climb a 4 foot ladder.
