Job Description
IMMEDIATE OPENING for an Accounting Clerk!
Rate of Pay for the Accounting Clerk is $17.00 to $18.00 per hour based on background and qualifications.
Full-Time Hours for the Accounting Clerk are Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm. Some flexibility offered with the hours.
Competitive Benefit Package is offered.
Essential Functions for the Accounting Clerk Include:
*Assists with payables using accounting software and other programs.
*Maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
*Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges.
*Process transactions and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts.
*Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
*Operate 10-key calculators to perform calculations and various office equipment to produce documents.
Minimum Required Qualifications for the Accounting Clerk Include:
*High School Diploma or GED.
*Knowledge of basic billing and accounting principles.
*Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures such as office procedures, managing files and records.
*Must be proficient with MS Office.
*Type 40 wpm minimum.
*Attention to detail is required.
*Above average verbal and written communication skills.
