Now Hiring for Semi-Truck Auto Body Technician!
The Semi-Truck Auto Body Technician is responsible for repairing and restoring the exterior and structural components of semi-trucks. This includes bodywork, panel replacement, fiberglass work, and refinishing.
Compensation for the Auto Body Technician: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience.
Day Shift: Monday - Friday: 7:00am to 5:30pm with unlimited Overtime!

Key Responsibilities for Auto Body Technician:
*Perform structural and cosmetic repairs to semi-truck bodies, including cab, doors, panels, bumpers, and fenders.
*Replace or repair damaged sheet metal, fiberglass, and plastic components.
*Weld metal parts
*Sand, prime, and refinish surfaces for painting; may assist with paint prep or painting.
*Remove and install truck body parts and accessories (lights, mirrors, grilles, etc.)
*Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and DOT safety standards.
*Complete all paperwork and documentation related to work performed.
Required Skills/Abilities for Auto Body Technician:
*High school diploma or equivalent required.
*2+years of relevant experience required.
*Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
*Perform duties associated with auto body repair including but not limited to disassembly; removal of auto equipment for repair access; complete all repairs by hammering, filing, filling, grinding, welding, sanding, etc.; and reassembly ensuring industry and JHCC standards are met.
*Repair or replace defective parts.
*Operate a variety of hand and power tools (e.G. Welder, soldering equipment, cutting torch, blocks, hammers, wrenches, sander, spray guns, etc.)
*Strong, consistent attention to detail.
