Immediate Opening for a Concrete Laborer / CDL Driver in Adams & Hancock IL.
Our Client is seeking an energetic laborer to perform a variety of tasks in a precast concrete manufacturing environment and on-site installation and deliveries. This position is a full-time, year round, direct hire position. This is primarily a Shop and Field Jobsite job.
Candidates must be dependable and must be able to work in a manufacturing environment. This means you will get somewhat dirty while working at the precast concrete operation. Do not apply if you are uncomfortable with this or are seeking a driving only position. Precast Concrete work is performed inside a heated manufacturing building. Drivers work outside at off-site installation locations.
Starting wage for the Concrete Laborer / CDL Driver is: $21 to $25 per hour based on work experience. This is a `Direct-Hire' opening - No temp work, straight to the employer's payroll!

Concrete Laborer / CDL Driver Duties/Responsibilities:
*Assists in production of concrete septic tanks
*Preparation of the tanks for delivery
*Delivers completed tanks to clients
*Sets tanks in client location using hydraulic equipment, including preparing the general area for tank installation
*Maintains company equipment to be clean and operable
*Reports any issues to manager
Concrete Laborer / CDL Driver Required Skills/Abilities:
*Valid CDL Class B driver's license required; must have insurable driving record
*Certified DOT Driving Record will be required before a job offer can be extended
*Good verbal and written communication skills
*Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions
*Ability to work in a variety of roles
*Ability to work unsupervised
*Ability to work with a team or independently
*Have pride in quality of service and product
*Have attention to detail
*Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. And work in various positions
