We're looking for Diesel Artists!
As a Diesel Mechanic, you will use your skills (diesel, automotive, or other mechanical) to perform maintenance tasks in a safe and professional manner. Every day, you can improve and challenge yourself, and if you have the desire and ambition, you will have the potential to work towards higher level Tech.
Full-time Hours Available on all shifts for the Diesel Mechanic including Overtime.
Hourly pay range for the Diesel Mechanic is $17.00 to $23.75. A night shift differential of $1.50 per hour is offered in addition to the hourly rate of pay

Key Responsibilities for Diesel Mechanic:
*Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on heavy-duty vehicles
*Perform PM services on medium/heavy-duty vehicles
*Perform DOT annual inspections on heavy-duty vehicles
*Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components of commercial vehicles and equipment
*Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
*Conduct thorough inspections to identify any issues or potential problems
*Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues
*Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
*Document all maintenance and repair work accurately and thoroughly
*Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding the status of repairs and maintenance tasks
*Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Required Skills/Abilities for Diesel Mechanic:
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
*Vocational or Technical Certification Post-Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred or proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic
*Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
*Routine preventative maintenance, which should include oil changes, brake and tire work, required
*Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
*Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
*Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
*Ability to work independently and in a team environment
*Commitment to safety standards and protocols
