We have immediate openings for a Dryer Operator to join our manufacturing team in Quincy, IL
Rate of pay for the Dryer Operator is $27.00 per hour.
Enjoy a permanent 4-day workweek with every Friday off! Hours for the Dryer Operator are Sunday through Thursday from 11:00pm to 7:00am.

What you'll do in the role of a Dryer Operator:
*Accurately blending/mixing raw material, per product formula, to meet production line filling needs.
*Loading and unloading tank trucks and rail cars of raw materials.
*Transferring raw materials/products as needed making sure all tankage and valve arrangements are accurate.
*Making precise measurements of materials used in formulations utilizing batch check sheets to assure compliance with formula, while entering product work orders in an accurate and timely manner.
*Process monitoring: Regularly checking key operating parameters like temperature, pressure, and flow to ensure everything is running correctly.
*Assuring that duties are performed safely and in compliance with applicable EHS&S requirements.
*Maintaining accuracy of raw material and bulk products by completing end of run inventories in a timely manner.
*Maintaining PM of equipment and follow good housekeeping practices in all areas.
What you'll need to be successful as a Dryer Operator:
*High School Diploma or Equivalent.
*Must have a minimum of 2 years+ in a manufacturing environment.
*2 years+ Forklift experience.
*Ability to move or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds, often repetitively, during a 10 hour shift.
*Basic math skills,
*Mechanically aptitude.
*Ability to work 3rd shift and overtime.
*Ability to learn and operate computer-controlled processes for record-keeping purposes.
*Ability to work in hot, cold or wet environments.
*Hands-on knowledge gained from working in sectors that manufacture goods, such as chemicals, food, pharmaceuticals, and oil/gas, preferred not required.
