URGENT HIRING for an Electricians & Electricians Apprentice!
Direct Hire Positions!
Rate of Pay for Electricians is $22.00 to $31.00+ depending on background and experience.
Rate of Pay for Apprentice is competitive and based on background and experience.
Full-Time Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm
Job Scope:
Your job will involve installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts. Due to the high amount of risk pertaining to this job, electricians must be first and foremost responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions.
Responsibilities
*Installation of electrical components and equipment on both commercial and industrial projects.
*Ability to read plans, specifications, and data to ensure all equipment is correct and installed in accordance with National Electric Code and manufacturer's recommendations.
*Work productively with project managers, co-workers, and other trades in a construction environment.
*Know all of the components of wiring systems and how they work together.
*Be familiar with the types of tools and materials used for electrical installations.
*Work alone or as part of a team to install electrical systems.
*Be able to follow instructions, including written instructions and work orders regarding tasks to be performed.
Requirements
*Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician
*Proven experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
*Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.G. Wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
*Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
*Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
*Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts
*Valid driver's license is required
*Ability to work overtime if needed.
