Immediate Opening for a Forklift Operator!
Our client company is growing in the global market! They offer a competitive benefit package which includes retirement, medical, vacation and paid holidays.
Starting Rate of Pay for the Forklift Operator is $19.50 per hour. This is a DIRECT HIRE opening!
First Shift Hours for Forklift Operator are Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm.
Essential Functions for the Forklift Operator Include:
*Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
*Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
*Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
*Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
*Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
*Load truck using a forklift.
Minimal Required Qualifications for the Forklift Operator Include:
*High School Diploma or GED Required.
*MUST HAVE A Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a forklift.
*Must have a valid driver license.
*Good verbal and written communication skills.
