Job Description
IMMEDIATE OPENING for a Heavy Equipment Operator! DIRECT HIRE!
Starting Hourly Rate of Pay for the Heavy Equipment Operator is $20.00 per hour.
Hours for the Heavy Equipment Operator are Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm.
Company offers a competitive benefit package which includes retirement, medical, vacation and paid holidays.
Essential Functions for the Heavy Equipment Operator Include:
*Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
*Sort cargo before loading and unloading. Ability to stage all loads properly.
*Weigh materials or products and record weight or other production data on tags or labels.
*Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.

Minimum Required Education and Experience For the Heavy Equipment Operator Include:
*High School Diploma or Equivalent.
*Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse setting operating a forklift, end loader and other equipment utilized to move and load product weighing up to 3, 000 pounds.
*Must be able to climb and to work at heights.
*Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift as needed, enter and exit heavy equipment.
*Written communication skills is required.
*Must be able to work independently and make decisions.
