Job Description
Seeking an exceptional person for a Forklift Material Handler opening!
In this role, Forklift Material Handlers are responsible for moving parts and materials between production areas by moving or otherwise lifting raw materials and finished parts.
Hours for Forklift Material Handler are: Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm. With a pay range of $18.00 to $19.50 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the Forklift Material Handler:
*Know, understand and follow all plant and department safety requirements.
*Maintain a safe and clean environment inside the facility.
*Maintain equipment and do all required safety checks and cleanings as required.
*Drive and operate material handling equipment, such as, but not limited to, forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes to move materials throughout designated locations.
*Coordinate with departments to position materials in necessary areas.
*Move materials from and to production stations, shipping and warehouse.
*Stack/unstack materials for storage and shipping.
*Present and remove materials from work areas.
*Load and unload truck trailers.
*Ensure material is stored based on current and future needs
*Marking and scanning materials for inventory control.
Education and Experience Requirements for the Forklift Material Handler:
*Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
*Previous forklift/ material handling experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations.
*Demonstrated reliability + consistency in prior work history.
*Must possess good math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
*Excellent organizational and time management skills.
*Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
*Must possess good organizational ability.
*Must comply with quality, PPE requirements and safety and understand the importance of complying with safety policies and procedures.
*Reliable transportation to and from work.
*Must be able to frequently lift and/or move objects of 50 pounds or more.
