HIRING NOW for a Management Team Member in Manufacturing!
Our client company is a manufacturing facility located in Quincy, IL with multiple US manufacturing locations and markets its products both in the U.S. And internationally. They offer a competitive benefit package which includes retirement, medical, vacation and paid holidays.
Pay Range for the Management Team Member is $20.00 to $23.00 per hour.
Hours for Management Team Member are Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm.
Essential Functions for the Management Team Member Include:
*Supervise & assist 2 employees with daily work assignments.
*Must ensure Safety, Quality, and Productivity goals are being met on a daily basis.
*Prepare proper training for production employees as needed.
*Check that housekeeping is maintained in area.
*Operate various materials handling equipment, to include but not limited to, forklift, pallet jacks, skid steers, front-end loaders and dump trucks.
*Help ensure machinery, tools, and equipment are in good working order.
*Ensure all company policies and procedures are being followed.
*Ensure a quality product is being produced while at the same time able to assist in solving problems as they arise.
*Assign work to meet daily priorities, helps to determine if departmental overtime is needed to meet customer ship dates, and provides any other assistance as directed by the supervisor.
Minimum Requirements for the Management Team Member Include:
*High school diploma or GED is required.
*1-3 years of manufacturing or related experience.
*Communicates clearly and effectively with all levels of the organization.
*Leads by example and is approachable with employees; fair but firm when needed.
*Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
*Possess functional knowledge of processes, machinery and equipment related to the production process.
*Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift 50 pounds continuously.
*CDL License beneficial, but not required.
*Able to work in adverse temperatures.
