HIRING NOW for 2nd Shift Manufacturing Painter!

Fulltime Hours for the Manufacturing Painter are 2nd Shift, Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm to 2:00am and Friday from 3:30pm to 8:30pm. Some overtime available!
Essential Functions for the Manufacturing Painter Include:
*You will be responsible for applying powder coating to various surfaces using specialized equipment and techniques
*Prepare surface of components and large weldments to be powder coated by removing oils, burrs, slag, spatter, rust, and scale
*Hang parts from racks, blasts, washes, dries parts, and applies an even coating of powder that meets company standards
*Ensure all parts are appropriately cleaned, prepared and sprayed to meet high quality standards, consistent with schedule and demand
*Follow supervisors' instructions and maintain contact as needed
*Inspect completion of work, dimensional accuracy, and overall appearance.
*Perform all work in a safe manner, cleaning and maintaining powder coating guns and equipment, ventilation, oven, compressed air and the use of personal protective equipment
Minimum Requirements for the Painter Include:
*High school diploma or GED.
*Prior prep and painting experience and expertise, Powder Coat painting experience preferred, but not required.
*Will be required to wear PPE and a Respirator; and become respirator certified.
*Must be able to hold a paint gun, while painting in a circular motion for an entire shift.
*Ability to understand written and verbal communication and safety information.
*Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
*Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods and the tools required in the various processes
*Strong time management and prioritization skills
*Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
*Knowledge of workplace safety, safe lifting and handling procedures
*Solid work history is required to be considered.
