Trailer Technician - Immediate Opening!

We are looking for candidates with mechanical aptitude and a drive to learn for the Trailer Technician position. This is a full-time position scheduled 45 hours weekly on day shift.
Compensation for the Trailer Technician: $18.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience.

Essential Function for the Trailer Technician Include:
*Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair fleet of reefer and flatbed semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components
*Preventative maintenance to include preventative, warrantable and accident related repairs
*Inspection of suspension, wheel-end, braking and structural components to match company and DOT specifications
*Test equipment for performance issues
*DOT Inspections
*Must be self-motivated, punctual, and eager to learn
Minimum Required Qualifications for the Trailer Technician Include:
*1 year of verifiable experience is preferred but not required
*Basic knowledge and experience in welding steel and aluminum is needed
*Industrial knowledge of air brakes, axles and suspensions is preferred
*Knowledge in adjusting and replacing brakes, fabrication, suspension, alignment and basic knowledge of air systems is a plus
