Key Job Functions:
*Transportation Operations Management: Process management includes leading staff of direct reports consisting of Drivers, Load Planners, Fleet Managers, Customer Service Representatives, Administrative Staff Members.
*Strategic and Tactical: Analysis and Decisions based on ongoing understanding of industry issues and collection of market intelligence.
*Financial Monitoring and Tracking: Review with owner for budget and financial projections, sales and activity reports and performance data to maintain productivity and goal achievement through your group.
*Customer Development and Satisfaction: Maintain frequent contact with clients, prospects and targets.
*Team Building: Coordinate staffing and recruiting campaigns based on requirements disclosed by assessment of client needs and staff collaboration requirements. Continual, onboarding, mentoring, coaching and facilitating resources to staff to maximize customer service.
*Collaborative Communication Style: Engage in conflict resolution where required using open listening and engagement style based on problem solving.
